Felicia Feaster can be reached at ffeaster@bellsouth.net. She is the former Senior Editor at the Modern Luxury magazine The Atlantan. Previously, she was an art and film critic for 15 years for Atlanta's alternative newsweekly Creative Loafing. Her writing has appeared in Elle, Atlanta magazine, New York Press, Paper, Sculpture, Art in America, Artnews, Playboy,Charleston City Paper and Art Papers. She is also a confirmed misanthrope who nevertheless sees untold marvels and transcendence in the human creations of film and art. So people, at least when they are creating and thinking, are displaying the best parts of themselves. When they are driving and texting...not so much.
